3D Printed Can Lid & Dust Cover Generator

Lightweight 3D-printable cover against dirt, dust and insects. The original PUSH lid and hinge are retained with a simpler smooth-fit black ring. Four AMS filament colors, logo outside and scannable QR inside. Not a seal for spills or carbonation.

0.10 mm layers for fine artwork. The 3MF includes the matching P2S profile.

Snap ring nominal inner diameter 50.0 mm · rolled cap diameter 60.2 mm (inside 58.6 mm) · QR module 0.8 mm · pinless hinge with flexible arms and 3.0 mm pin projections. P2S · 0.2 mm nozzle · PLA · 0.10 mm layers (first: 0.12 mm). All outside logo colors finish in 4 layers (0.42 mm), followed by yellow body material; the inner QR is a separate multicolor feature. Two plates: cap and ring. Print at 100% scale and Standard speed. The Ø50 mm unloaded black ring is restored from V11 without added front stops or catches. The latest Ø58.6 mm inside / Ø60.2 mm outside lid, hinge and hinge-side PUSH stay unchanged. The ring may stretch on the can, so test your printed fit. Dust/insect protection only: this is not airtight and cannot prevent spills.

Custom can protector & dust covers

Create a reusable printed lid that sits on a drink can to reduce exposure to dust and insects. The built-in hinge-side PUSH tab and simple ring mount can be assembled without a metal axle; choose the nozzle and branding before downloading a 3MF. This is not a seal, pressure-retaining cap or spill-proof product.

A simple workflow

  1. Choose a 0.2 or 0.4 mm nozzle and upload your logo, or try the demo.
  2. Set a QR destination, print caption and four AMS filament colors.
  3. Check both sides of the model, generate your 3MF, then verify the physical ring fit and hinge before use.
Will the lid keep beer carbonated or prevent spills?

No. The print-only cover helps reduce exposure to dust and insects but does not form a reliable airtight or spillproof seal.

Does it include a physical hinge pin?

No. The two printed parts connect with integrated pinless hinge features, but real-world fit must be verified.

Can I share my design publicly?

Yes, by separately opting in before downloading. Only a small JPEG rendering is submitted for moderation, never the 3MF file or original logo source.
