01Keychain size

Width measures the entire keychain, including the frame. The inner disc scales automatically. The top eyelet adds height only.

Printing nozzle

Choose the nozzle installed on your printer. A 0.2 mm nozzle prints finer logo and QR details; a 0.4 mm nozzle prints faster. Mechanical gaps remain fixed.

02Logo

Upload SVG, PNG, JPG or WebP (up to 4 MB). The generator detects colors, cleans the background where possible and prepares printable vector shapes.

Logo detail
Preserve contours keeps the original vector letters smooth and unchanged. Reinforce thin lines may distort small lettering: use only after checking sliced toolpaths. For best detail upload the original SVG and use a 0.2 mm nozzle.
Logo style
Logo rotation
90° rotates only the logo. The frame, keyring hole, pivots, QR and NFC remain unchanged.

03QR + NFC

QR prints flat on the back; NFC uses a sealed cavity for a 25 mm sticker. Both stay with the rotating inner disc.

Colors

Four AMS spool colors are offered even when your logo uses one or two. Click a color swatch to replace its filament color, then assign any slot to the spinner, frame, accents or each logo color separately. The preview and exported 3MF use the same colors.

Prototype: sealed blind pivots need physical test printing and gentle first release before customer production. Minis need extra stress testing.

Mechanism

One centered left/right axle with two sealed blind trunnions in all sizes. The outer ring stays visually proportional at every size, and the keyring eyelet remains at 12 o'clock. Two tiny sacrificial support tacks beneath the blind journals help prevent floating first layers. After the print cools, gently free the disc by turning it; do not use force if stuck. Print a mechanical test sample before customer production.

Mechanical clearance

Keep this on Standard for the first physical print. The value does not scale when you resize the keychain.

What stays fixed?

Disc-to-frame gap: 0.35 mm per side.

Pivot socket gap: 0.35 mm.

First-layer moving edges receive a local 0.20 mm anti-elephant-foot relief.

From design to a real object

Print-in-place spinner keychains

Design a captured spinner keychain with a centered left/right axle and a top keyring hole. Customize the rotating disc’s logo, optional QR and NFC, and top-layer rim accents. Mechanical test printing is recommended.

Made for

  • Personalized spinner keychains
  • Logo and QR design experiments
  • Print-in-place mechanical test samples

A simple workflow

  1. Choose size, nozzle and mechanical clearance.
  2. Upload and position the logo; choose colors and optional QR or NFC.
  3. Download the 3MF, inspect the sliced gaps and test a sample before batches.
Does preview motion prove the print will spin?

No. The preview shows the intended motion. Printer calibration, material and first-layer quality affect release; print and gently test a mechanical sample.

What changes when I rotate the logo 90°?

Only the printable logo on the inner disc rotates. The frame, top keyring hole, pivots, QR and NFC geometry stay unchanged.

Are QR and NFC required?

No. Both are optional and start disabled. NFC requires a separate chip and inspection of the insertion pause.
